After 5 events things are beginning to shape up nicely. Not many points separating those vying for a top 3 finish overall

It’s all over and with a fantastic turn out of 16 riders and ‘almost perfect’ conditions the 10 TT was an exciting event this year. A brisk headwind made an aero position an advantage for the first 5 miles and sapped the legs. But the compensation was a wonderful tailwind to blow us all homewards.

With only a few seconds between the top 3 men and even less time between 4th,5th and 6th it certainly was a competitive race. Rightly so because the men’s GP trophies are still anyone’s for the taking!

The women’s event was pretty competitive too with Gail, And Shona battling it out for second place just now. Although Emma has only dropped one point so far this year, there’s still time for someone to whisk that trophy out from under her nose so points were important tonight!

Most importantly thanks to our two Marshall’s tonight, Ann and Olivia, who without there would be no race.

And now for the results:

Men:
1st. Stuart Robertson 23:46
2nd Kevin Plummer 23:57
3rd Graeme Scott 24:25
4th Martin Brown 25:00
5th David Holland 25:01
6th Graeme Cross 25:30
7th Gordon Brown. 26:02
8th Chris Ashurst 26:11
9th Craig Stitt 28:02
10th Ian Clark 28:14
11th Neil Boyd 29:09
12th Alex Dingwall 30:38
13th Harry Robertson 31:32

Women:
1st Emma Westmancott 26: 56
2nd Gail Paterson 28:42
3rd Shona Shirley 29:05

Well done everyone!
