Dumfries & Galloway Triathlon Club was established in 2012 to cater for the demand in the area for a club focusing on Triathlon. The clubs' main objectives are to deliver structured training sessions and bring a group of likeminded individuals together, but also to welcome all levels of ability and ensure it is fun and enjoyable. Potential members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman not to mention aquathons, adventure races and off road MTB endurance events.
Currently we have coached swim sessions on Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings in the Temporary Pool at the Dumfries Ice Bowl, we also hold weekly evening ride and run sessions. During the race season we have a group ride on a Wednesday and a coached run session on a Friday both starting at the Easterbrook Hall car park. During the off season the Wednesday session moves to the Loreburn Hall where we hold a turbo & core session.
Why not come down and meet us to train and chat with likeminded people. In order to participate in club sessions individuals are required to become members of the Club, and more information can be found on the Membership Page.
